Beth began her entrepreneurial career in graphic design in the early 1980s in Poughkeepsie, NY, and was the owner and creative director of the award-winning design firm B. Jones & Co. After a move to New York City in 1997 she was a consultant in the investment banking division at Goldman Sachs and Co. Beth then transitioned out of corporate life to work with individuals at an independent financial advisory firm for several years. Frustrated by traditional financial services’ lack of focus on the client, she and Susan created Third Eye Associates, Ltd. in 2005 to provide clients with a holistic approach to Financial Life Planning and Wealth Management.
Beth's professional credentials include membership in the Financial Planning Association, the Kinder Institute of Life Planning, and the Sudden Money® Institute, where she serves on the advisory board. She has completed the Life Planning curriculum in the Kinder EVOKE® Method, a life-centered approach to financial planning. Beth has studied Financial Transition Planning at the Sudden Money® Institute, and completed the Mastery program in early 2013. She has completed the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) curriculum through the Center for Fiduciary Studies, associated with the University of Pittsburgh Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business.
Beth is a Certified Financial Transitionist® (CeFT®), a Registered Life Planner (RLP®), and an Investment Adviser Representative of Third Eye Associates, Ltd., a Registered Investment Adviser.
An active citizen in her community, Beth has generously shared her skills and vision with numerous non-profit organizations. She strongly supports the preservation of the rural character and architecture of her town, and currently serves as Treasurer of Historic Red Hook. Beth is a former board member of SAGE―Services and Advocacy for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Elders in New York City and a former Treasurer of Dutchess County Democratic Committee.

Susan has worked in finance since 1998 when she was Finance Manager of the Wisdom Division of Landmark Education Corporation. She then spent five years as a Financial and Insurance Advisor at an independent NYC-based financial advisory firm. In 2005 she and Beth established Third Eye Associates, Ltd. Susan combines the practicality and certainty of numbers with the esthetic discipline she acquired while studying art to form a comprehensive philosophy about finances.
Susan has completed the course of study for the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification and is a Registered Financial Consultant (RFC®). She has completed the Life Planning curriculum in the Kinder EVOKE™ Method, a life-centered approach to financial planning, and is a Registered Life Planner (RLP®).
Susan is an Investment Adviser Representative of Third Eye Associates, Ltd., a Registered Investment Adviser, is certified in Long-Term Care (CLTC) and is a Notary Public.
Susan serves on the Town of Red Hook Ethics Board, is Chair of the Red Hook Zoning Review Committee, is past President of Red Hook Rotary Club and the Red Hook Chamber of Commerce. She also served on the Board of Directors of the Eleanor Roosevelt Leadership Center at Vallkill for three years. For the fun side of life, she loves to dance and is a member of dance performance troupes “Chester’s Cool Cats & Kittens” and “The Sunhoppers”. She also DJs for various dances throughout the Hudson Valley.
Susan is the mother of two adult daughters and enjoys time with her four grandsons. Beth and Susan share a Hudson Valley home in Red Hook, New York and they are pretty good Lindy Hoppers!
Third Eye Associates, Ltd. is happy to have Jennifer McKinley on our team. Her professional experience spans more than 25 years including business, production, coaching and office management. Jennifer served as the executive assistant to the President and CEO of an international financial institution in Manhattan and went on to work as an associate producer and executive assistant for a high-profile recording artist.
Jennifer’s passion for holistic learning and personal growth lends itself perfectly to the mission of Third Eye Associates, Ltd. and she’s excited to support the team as we work together to help clients achieve their financial life goals.
Jennifer holds an M.B.A. from Fordham University and a B.A. from Rutgers University. She is also a board certified Health Coach, trained through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition’s Professional Training Program in Manhattan and has owned two nutrition-based businesses, Kingston Natural Food Store and Nutrition Street.
As an associate producer, Jennifer worked with Bard College and local women’s shelters to help bring awareness to the issue of domestic violence in our communities. Recently, she worked with clients at The Jericho Project in the Bronx, bringing nutrition coaching and education to Veterans who had at one time been homeless. Jennifer lives in Stone Ridge, New York with her son Ian, and her husband Tim.
Jen Cavanaugh was drawn to Third Eye Associates for our client-centric culture. She joined Third Eye Associates after an 18-year career as a Consulting Engineer with specialty in Erosion and Sediment Control and Municipal Stormwater Management. Her analytical background and logical, focused approach give her an advantage in her role assisting clients with their investment portfolios.
Financial Planning and Wealth Management are not new skills to Jen. From a young age her grandmother, a self-educated investor, taught her about the stock market and how to wisely manage and invest hard earned money. She knows the value of collaborating with a professional Financial Planner and the difference it can make in achieving financial security.
Jen obtained her BS degree from Cornell University, where she studied Environmental Engineering. She holds a Series 65 license and is an Investment Adviser Representative of Third Eye Associates, Ltd., a Registered Investment Adviser.
After a time in Telluride, CO, and Providence, RI, Jen has returned to the Hudson Valley, where she grew up. She lives with her husband Kevin and their two young daughters Darcy and Taryn in Red Hook. Jen is an active member of her community, serving on many municipal committees, including the Conservation Advisory Council and Energy Committee. She also coaches her daughter’s soccer team.
Eva has worked for more than a decade at some of New York City’s biggest and most cutting-edge corporations. From the executive offices of Time Warner to the boutique online video platform, Vimeo, she has honed her skills in logistics, event planning, Human Resources and employee relations in a diverse array of traditional corporate and startup office cultures.
All this experience has taught Eva the importance of personal relationships and ethical standards in dealing with colleagues and clients. Her skills in organization and planning are well matched by her enthusiasm and desire to help people.
A New York native, Eva earned her B.A. in Psychology at Boston University, then spent several years in Hawaii working in tourism and hospitality. It goes without saying that she still brings that same sunny demeanor to her work here in the Hudson Valley, where she enjoys as much time outside as possible with her husband and two daughters.
