Grace George Khartoum
Grace George Khartoum is a Financial Planning Intern at Third Eye Associates and a junior at Bard College, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Finance. Her path into finance is deeply personal, shaped by lived experiences with money and a longstanding commitment to bringing financial literacy to the people and communities closest to her.
Grace's work sits at the intersection of finance and social impact. At Third Eye Associates, she supports advisors in preparing financial plans, cash-flow analyses, retirement projections, and investment summaries, while building the technical foundation to pursue a career that bridges financial practice with social policy. She is particularly interested in how economics and finance intersect with social policy to drive sustainable development and equitable resource distribution.
Before joining the financial services sector, Grace spent years embedded in humanitarian and community-development work across Kenya and the United States. As a UN Volunteer with UNICEF in the Dadaab Refugee Camp, she advocated for expanded youth education. With Save the Children International, she led life-skills programming for children and teenage mothers. She has served displaced and refugee communities as a medical interpreter, a program mentor, and a student ambassador, and has founded two student organizations aimed at amplifying underrepresented voices.
A Dean's List student and Welcome Corps scholarship recipient, Grace brings academic rigor, multicultural competence, and a deep sense of purpose to her work. She is motivated by the belief that financial tools, when made accessible, can be truly transformative for marginalized communities.
