Beth began her entrepreneurial career in graphic design in the early 1980s in Poughkeepsie, NY, and was the owner and creative director of the award-winning design firm B. Jones & Co. After a move to New York City in 1997 she was a consultant in the investment banking division at Goldman Sachs and Co. Beth then transitioned out of corporate life to work with individuals at an independent financial advisory firm for several years.  Frustrated by traditional financial services’ lack of focus on the client, she and Susan created Third Eye Associates, Ltd. in 2005 to provide clients with a holistic approach to Financial Life Planning and Wealth Management.

Beth's professional credentials include membership in the Financial Planning Association, the Kinder Institute of Life Planning, and the Sudden Money® Institute, where she serves on the advisory board.  She has completed the Life Planning curriculum in the Kinder EVOKE® Method, a life-centered approach to financial planning.  Beth has studied Financial Transition Planning at the Sudden Money® Institute, and completed the Mastery program in early 2013.  She has completed the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) curriculum through the Center for Fiduciary Studies, associated with the University of Pittsburgh Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business.

Beth is a Certified Financial Transitionist® (CeFT®), a Registered Life Planner (RLP®), and an Investment Adviser Representative of Third Eye Associates, Ltd., a Registered Investment Adviser.

An active citizen in her community, Beth has generously shared her skills and vision with numerous non-profit organizations. She currently serves as Treasurer on the board for Working for Women. She strongly supports the preservation of the rural character and architecture of her town and formerly served as President of Historic Red Hook. Beth is also a former board member of SAGE―Services and Advocacy for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Elders in New York City and a former Treasurer of Dutchess County Democratic Committee.

Susan Simon CLTC

Susan worked in finance since 1998 when she was Finance Manager of the Wisdom Division of Landmark Education Corporation. She then spent five years as a Financial and Insurance Advisor at an independent NYC-based financial advisory firm before she and Beth established Third Eye Associates, Ltd. in 2005.

Susan retired  in 2021 as an investment advisor representative and currently manages the firm's finances. She is also a Notary Public.

Susan serves on the Town of Red Hook Ethics Board, is a member and past president of the Red Hook Rotary Club and the Red Hook Chamber of Commerce. She also served on the Board of Directors of the Eleanor Roosevelt Leadership Center at Vallkill. For the fun side of life, she loves to dance and is a member of dance performance troupes “Chester’s Cool Cats & Kittens” and “The Sunhoppers”. She also DJs for various dances throughout the Hudson Valley and is class manager/student at Bard's Lifetime Learning Institute.

Susan is the mother of two adult daughters and enjoys time with her four grandsons. Beth and Susan share a Hudson Valley home in Red Hook, New York and they are pretty good Lindy Hoppers!

Lori has been on our team since spring of 2023. Her professional journey has been multifaceted, defined by her passion for helping others. After first becoming a massage therapist, she earned a B.A. in Psychology from Burlington College, received a J.D. from Vermont Law School and passed the New York and Vermont bar exams. Lori served as a judicial law clerk until her son Liam was born and she became a stay at-home mother. Ten years later, she went through a divorce. Having delegated all the financial matters to her then-husband, she quickly realized she needed to rejoin the working world to learn about finances. She became a mediator and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®, and opened her solo practice, Lori Lustberg, Esq., which focused on helping individuals and couples navigate the emotional and financial implications of divorce. During this time, Lori continued to deepen her financial planning knowledge, earning her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation in 2016.

While the divorce work was fulfilling, Lori wanted to establish deeper relationships with clients and she joined a fee-only financial planning firm in Vermont. She earned her Certified Financial Transitionist (CeFT®) designation in 2022 and has now joined Third Eye Associates where the tools taught through this program are used regularly in client meetings.

Lori has presented for professional organizations, including the Vermont Bar Association (who affectionately termed her “Our favorite financial guru”), and the National Association of Divorce Financial Planners, of which she is co-President.

Being a life-long learner brings Lori joy, as does challenging herself to break through limits. She has sung on stage in front of 150 people, swum in Lake Champlain in all weather, and written and performed stand-up comedy. In her free time, she is a prolific writer of articles and essays for local and national publications and particularly enjoys making complex financial and legal concepts understandable. Lori is an animal lover and has been a vegetarian since 1984

Robert Alonso

Rob joined our team in 2020 from JPMorgan Chase Bank. Rob has a strong skill set in both personal and business financial growth and is passionate about building relationships with clients. His determination, focus and friendly demeanor make for a perfect fit to expertly handle client services and operations for Third Eye Associates. 

Rob has a bachelor’s degree from Dominican College where he studied Business Administration Management and Diverse Communications. He holds a certification in Business Analytics from University of Pennsylvania, a certificate in Fundamentals of Financial Accounting from University of Virginia, Darden School of Business. 

Rob is an Investment Adviser Representative of Third Eye Associates, Ltd., a Registered Investment Adviser and he holds a Series 65 Securities license and a Life, Accidental & Health Insurance license. While at JPMorgan Chase, he held Series 6 and 63 Securities licenses.
 
In school, Rob was captain of the baseball team and later went on to play professional baseball. Now he enjoys playing golf and landscaping during his free time. Rob lives in Ulster County with his wife and baby boy.

Jennifer McKinley MBA

Jennifer has been part of the Third Eye Associates team since 2018. Her professional experience spans more than 30 years including business development, small business ownerships, production, health coaching and management. Jennifer served as the executive assistant to the president and CEO of an international financial institution in Manhattan and went on to work as a production manager for a high-profile international recording artist.

Jennifer’s passion for holistic learning and personal growth lends itself perfectly to the mission of Third Eye Associates, Ltd. She leads the team as we work together to help clients achieve their financial and life goals. In 2021, through the Financial Transitionist Institute, Jennifer completed course work for her Financial Transitionist® designation.

Jennifer holds an MBA from Fordham University and a BA from Rutgers University. She is also a board-certified Health Coach and has owned two nutrition-based businesses, Kingston Natural Foods and Nutrition Street.

As a production manager, Jennifer worked with Bard College and local women’s shelters to help bring awareness to the issue of domestic violence in our communities. She also worked with clients at The Jericho Project in the Bronx, bringing nutrition coaching and education to Veterans who had at one time been homeless. Jennifer lives in Stone Ridge, New York with her son Ian and her husband, Tim.

Eva Ross

Eva has worked for more than a decade at some of New York City’s biggest and most cutting-edge corporations. From the executive offices of Time Warner to the boutique online video platform, Vimeo, she has honed her skills in logistics, event planning, Human Resources and employee relations in a diverse array of traditional corporate and startup office cultures.

All this experience has taught Eva the importance of personal relationships and ethical standards in dealing with colleagues and clients. Her skills in organization and planning are well matched by her enthusiasm and desire to help people. Eva recently completed her Certified Financial Planner (CFP) curriculum at Boston Institute of Finance and is a candidate for her certification.

A New York native, Eva earned her B.A. in Psychology at Boston University, then spent several years in Hawaii working in tourism and hospitality. It goes without saying that she still brings that same sunny demeanor to her work here in the Hudson Valley, where she enjoys as much time outside as possible with her husband and two daughters.

Jill Schum

Jill brings 20+ years of client services and administrative skills to the team. Her experience began as the Sales Assistant & CE Coordinator of a financial consulting firm in New Jersey. With her bright and friendly manner, she has played supportive roles in managing several small businesses ranging from childcare/learning centers to health & beauty services. These experiences along with her strong organization skills and passion for communication and marketing make her the perfect fit to build great relationships with our clients and manage our administration office at Third Eye Associates.

Jill has a bachelor's degree in Communications from Rutgers University - School of Communication, Information and Library Studies.

Jill is originally from upstate New York, but now lives in New Jersey and enjoys adventuring with her 10- year-old daughter, Fiona.

Ellie Krevolin

After receiving a BA in Mathematics from Alfred University, Ellie started as a programmer coding COBOL and Fortran for AT&T and then went on to work for Citibank in Consumer Credit Risk Management. Ellie continued her career in consumer credit risk policy management, data analytics and project management at Equifax and Citizens Bank.

After raising her three sons in Connecticut she returned to Dutchess County to reinvest her time and talents in the community where she grew up. A proud graduate of Staatsburg Elementary and Roosevelt High Schools, she looks forward to supporting the Third Eye team as it serves clients throughout the region and beyond.   

Ellie is currently co-chair of the cemetery committee for Vassar Temple and volunteers her time with Dutchess Outreach Lunch Box program in Poughkeepsie. Ellie enjoys going on long walks with her partner and their dog. She is an avid gardener and prolific knitter always in search of locally sourced yarns.  

Jennifer Yearous

Jen is a great partner in helping us craft financial plans for our clients. When working on plans, she understands the overall picture, but her strength is paying close attention to the details. “I thrive in environments where I must deal with unexpected requests, unanticipated problems and changing priorities. And this is why I love what I do!

Jen has been in the financial services industry for over a decade, focused solely on creating and developing financial plans for advisors. Prior to working for Delegated Planning, she launched the paraplanning unit of MetLife’s Financial Planning Division, helping to grow and support more than 50 advisors across the Pacific Northwest. She was instrumental in helping the firm achieve the Financial Planning Firm of the Year award.

Jen graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health Administration from Indiana University. While at MetLife, she held Series 6, 63, 65 and life/health licenses. Jen completed the Financial Planning curriculum at American College. She enjoys advancing her knowledge through participation in peer study groups and attending conferences and webinars.

Jen is an avid skier and hiker, living in Sisters, OR with her husband and two children. They travel as often as they can to remote places in their Mitsubishi adventure vehicle.
